AT A GLANCE

Quick Answers

The four questions we hear most often.

Is it really free?

Yes. Start the challenge with no credit card.

How long does it take?

Most days take about 15–25 minutes. Project and assessment days can take longer, including the final assessment.

Do I need tech skills?

No technical background required.

What does verification mean?

It confirms IHA issued the credential; it is not employer endorsement.

COURSE & CONTENT

About the Course & Content

Learn what the program includes, how it works, and what makes it different.

About the Course

What is the recommended free starting point?

Start with the free 28-Day AI Challenge: one short activity a day, Sage Learning learning support, and no credit card. Free published courses are also labeled clearly in the catalog.

How long does the free challenge take?

Most challenge days take about 15–25 minutes; project and assessment days can take longer. Your progress is saved, so you can return if you miss a day.

Do I need any technical background?

No. The course is designed for working professionals regardless of technical background. No coding, no engineering knowledge, no prior AI experience required. If you can write an email, you can complete this course.

Which AI tools do I need?

You need access to a capable AI assistant for practice. Examples may use common tools, but the Academy teaches vendor-neutral prompting, workflow, evaluation, and governance practices.

What do I get when I complete a course?

The exact lessons, activities, project requirements, and credential are listed on each course page. A completion credential confirms required learning was completed. Evidence-based credentials require submitted work and human review only when the course explicitly says so.

What does public certificate verification mean?

A public verification page confirms that IHA issued a credential and whether it remains valid. It does not mean an employer endorsed the credential, accepted it, or independently verified every skill.

About the Content

What's the difference between this and other AI courses?

IHA connects instruction to guided practice, useful work, evaluation, safety, and clear credential language. Official vendor resources remain valuable; the Academy adds structure, application, and community context.

Is this just prompt engineering?

No. Prompt engineering is one skill among five. The course covers Strategic Prompting, Professional Communication, Research & Analysis, Content Creation, Decision Making, plus safety, bias awareness, and real-world application under pressure. The goal is comprehensive AI literacy for professional use.

How current is the content?

Durable lessons focus on prompting, workflow design, evaluation, governance, and human oversight. Product-specific material should include sources or review dates so stale resources can be updated or archived.

What if I already use AI regularly?

Use the catalog filters to choose Practitioner or Frontier material. Experienced learners should still review evaluation, data boundaries, safety, and human-approval practices.

PLATFORM

About the Platform

How the learning experience works — devices, data, and your AI mentor.

Is there a mobile app?

The platform is web-based and mobile-responsive. You can complete the course on any device with a browser.

Can I download the course materials?

Each lesson includes downloadable resources (PDF format) — frameworks, templates, checklists, and reference guides. You can print these and use them alongside your AI tools daily.

What is Sage Learning AI?

Sage Learning is IHA's AI learning coach. It can explain lesson concepts, answer questions in context, and support practice. It does not award advanced credentials or replace required human review.

Is my data private?

Yes. IHA does not sell personal data. Self-assessment information is used to personalize your learning experience and economic plan. Economic impact data you voluntarily log is displayed on your verification page only if you choose to share it. See our full privacy policy at academy.humanadvancementinstitute.org/privacy.

PRICING & CERTIFICATION

Pricing, Learning Paths & Credential Meaning

Know what is available now, what a credential proves, and what IHA does not promise.

About Pricing & Advanced Tiers

Why does IHA offer free learning?

Free entry learning expands access and lets learners evaluate the Academy before paying. Paid courses and organization programs sustain delivery, and IHA designates 10% of commercial revenue for free community programming.

How much do paid courses cost?

Current prices appear on the pricing and individual course pages. The Academy does not ask learners to buy a planned tier, and related software products are optional.

What is the Perpetual Engine?

The Perpetual Engine is IHA's commitment to designate 10% of commercial revenue for free community programming through Uplift Communities.

What tracks are available?

The catalog can be filtered by work context, including general professional use, entrepreneurship, teams, and public or nonprofit service. These are browsing paths, not four required certification ladders.

About Credentials & Career Use

Is the IHA credential employer-recognized?

IHA does not currently make a blanket employer-recognition claim. A public verification page confirms issuance and validity. Learners should pair a completion credential with work samples and a clear explanation of what they built and evaluated.

Will this help me get a job?

The Academy can help you build practical skills and work samples, but it does not guarantee employment, promotion, wage gains, or employer acceptance. Career outcomes depend on the role, market, prior experience, and how you apply the work.

Can I list this on my resume?

Yes. List the exact course and issuing institution, and describe the project or activity you completed. Do not describe a completion credential as accredited or employer-endorsed unless that is formally documented.

TEAMS

For Teams & Organizations

Bring AI literacy to your entire organization.

Can my team or organization enroll?

Yes. Organization programs can include cohort delivery, learner support, applied projects, and outcome review. The exact features, reporting, timeline, and pricing are defined in the program scope.

Do you offer corporate training?

IHA offers scoped programs for employers, nonprofits, schools, and public agencies. Programs begin with roles, workflows, data boundaries, and a bounded outcome rather than a promise of organization-wide transformation.
